Midwest HVAC can only ship parts charged to a current, Visa, American Express, MasterCard, or Discover account. We also accept debit cards. COD packages will be shipped at an additional cost.

By purchasing repair parts from you acknowledge and affirm that you have the required technical ability to safely and correctly replace the part or you acknowledge that you will use a third party that has the required technical ability to safely and correctly replace parts.

Any repair part requiring the opening of the refrigeration system requires special knowledge and equipment to replace the repair part. By purchasing a repair part which requires the opening of the refrigeration system , you acknowledge and affirm that you have the required technical ability and equipment to safely and correctly replace the purchased part or you acknowledge and affirm you will use a third party that has the required technical ability to safely and correctly replace the purchased part.

EPA Regulations state that you must be certified under section 608 of the clean air act to work on air conditioners and refrigeration system. A properly licensed person must handle the refrigerant contained in a unit/system. Purchaser hereby assumes full responsibility for safe and proper installation in accordance with the local code requirements. reserves the right to not sell repair parts that require special knowledge or tools in order to be properly installed or applied or that can present a danger to life or property when not properly installed. In these instances, we would refer you to your local HVAC qualified contractor.

Customer’s Responsibility

You, the customer, assume responsibility for the correct diagnosis of the problem with your heating and cooling system. and any Employee of cannot perform a complete and accurate diagnosis of any heating and cooling system over the phone or by email. Repair Part Quality: ensures that the repair parts on this website are new and have never been installed or used prior to their purchase. ensures that the repair parts on this website leave our shipping locations in the same condition as they would if a technician were to purchase them from a wholesaler.

Electrical parts cannot be warranted. All Electrical parts are sold as is, new in the original factory packaging. All other non electrical parts carry a full 1 year warranty for manufacturer defects unless stated otherwise.

Non-Electrical Repair Parts warrants all non-electrical parts from manufacturer defects for one year from the date of purchase. If a non-electrical part fails during this period due to manufacturer defect, will provide a free replacement part to you. In the event the part is no longer available for any reason, will allow a credit toward the purchase of an equivalent repair part (at current suggested repair part selling price). Expendable supplies i.e. filters, are not covered by any warranty.

Defective parts that are under warranty must be returned to us to receive warranty credit. If you have a defective part, we will ship you a new part and hold the billing for 30 days. If we have not received your defective part at the end of the 30 day period, you will be charged for both parts. You must provide a current Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit card for us to process a warranty.

If you order the wrong part, we will allow you to return non electrical parts in their original like new packaging if you agree to pay a 20% restocking fee and the original shipping charges. Parts that are returned for restocking must be returned with shipping costs prepaid.

Electrical Repair Parts does not warrant or accept returns of any Electrical Repair Parts due to their sensitive nature. Electrical Repair Parts are packaged and shipped new, failure of new parts is extremely rare, and failures are more likely to be a result of mishandling once opened or improper installation. does not warrant electrical repair parts sold.

Model and Serial Number

The model and serial number of your heating and cooling equipment is very valuable in determining the correct replacement parts for your unit and whether or not your unit may currently be under warranty.

When ordering parts, the model and serial number of the equipment will be very helpful in selecting the correct repair part for your unit. We need this information to ensure that the part being ordered is a part of the equipment you are repairing and to check for the possibility that there is standard warranty coverage remaining for your equipment. If your unit is under warranty protection you will need to contact your local HVAC dealer for repairs.

If you do not feel you need to supply your model and serial number in the comments box when ordering parts online, remember, as stated above, you have assumed responsibility for the selection of the correct repair part whether you provide your model and serial number or not.

Equipment that is currently under warranty

For equipment that is currently under warranty and requires repair, you will need to contact your local dealer to repair and warranty the replacement part. will not ship parts currently under manufacturer’s warranty.

Special Circumstances

Special situations arise on occasion that cannot be pre-determined. will take into consideration and make a decision based on that specific situation.

Shipping uses UPS to ship most of the repair parts purchased from In some other circumstances DHL, Federal Express, or USPS may be used.

Once the repair part leaves the warehouse facilities and transfers to the shipping carrier, the responsibility for the repair part shifts to said carrier. At this point has no control over delays or damage which may occur during shipping.

Delays and backorders

If there is a delay in shipping a part, or if the part is backordered, we will notify you as soon as we know. You can cancel the order for any part that is delayed in shipping.

Return Policy

Our Return policy has been updated as of 03/28/2012.

New/Unused parts can be returned within 15 days of receipt of purchase (not date of sale but date of delivery) with a 25% restocking fee. Special Order items and/or electrical parts cannot be returned

All returns must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns will not be accepted without this number. Contact us at 866-982-4822 or via email at to obtain an RMA number. All returns must be New/Unused and in original packaging with a copy of the original sales receipt, RMA#, and reason for the return. Any returned parts found to have been installed will not be accepted for return and can be returned to you at your expense. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
